On Friday 11th September 23 members left Ipswich for a long weekend in the Forest of Dean.  On the way down we had a stop at Roll Right Stones near Chipping Norton and also a stop for coffee and cakes at Wyatts Farm Cafe nearby.  We also had another break at Newent just to have a look around the village, most people enjoyed ice creams beside the lake.  We then made our way to the Milling Brook Lodge at Aylburton our B&B/ base for the weekend.

Saturday's ride out started with a ride through the forest to Tintern Abbey, then on to Symonds Yat and the Dean Heritage Centre, then another trip through part of the forest back to the B&B for a meal and well earned drinks.

Sunday we took the scenic ride home.  The weather was superb throughout the weekend making for a very good trip.
