Triangle Ladies Run 2010

 in conjunction with

Ipswich Rider Training

Ladies Ride Out.
After the success of last year the Triangle Club decided that another Ladies Rideout would be a good idea, so Martin worked out a route that would be suitable for all, which of course included a stop for tea and cakes.
The meeting place was Tesco Martlesham, and with the Paul, Ron, Stanford, and Gordon promoting the club before heading off to Cotton, it was certainly a sight for those early morning shoppers.
At around 9:50 the ride out headed off along the A12 towards Melton, before turning off towards Snape. The roads were perfect and although the weather appeared threatening it managed to remain dry until the ride out reached Southwold where a break for refreshments was welcomed by all.
Parking at Southwold can be a bit of a nightmare, and although the group has been led to an official car park it was not long before an attendant made an appearance. Although he was happy for us to park in a car park space he preferred us to move to the back of the coach park which was a flatter area and also free. As you can imagine the group did not take much persuading.
After  refreshments from the cafes on the pier the group headed off for the second half of the ride out, but just as the bikes were leaving Southwold the heavens briefly opened. But thankfully it was only a brief shower and by the time they had reached the petrol station for a quick fill up everyone was dry again.
The final stretch of the journey took the group past Heviningham Hall, which at any time of year is a fantastic road to ride. All in all the ride out went very well and from the comments received everyone wanted another one as soon as possible.
Hence the new date for the diary…. August 15th 2010. Ladies Rideout – Part 2
